Science says, as humans, having relationships is important to our emotional and wellbeing. It includes the relationship you have with yourself as well as others.
Not many of us have taken a relationship class in high school. At least I didn’t.
As a social worker in the military, I teach others the value of positive relationships and how to avoid unhealthy, abusive ones. I’ve taught anger management and stress management when it comes to communicating and building relationships with your kids. I have taught relationship enhancement skills such as how to effectively communicate with your partner.
In my career, I help people reach out of their comfort zone, learn new skills, and better their overall being to live a happier life with others.
The relationship with others starts with yourself.
I hope you find these tips and knowledge helpful!
